Weather in Central Vietnam
The weather in central Vietnam is divided into two main seasons of dry and rainy season. The weather is pretty fine for traveling year round. Only one fact to note that the monsoon happens in September and October and might have heavy affects on your trip as it will bring all day rain and even flood.

Weather in Southern Vietnam
Southern Vietnam weather is also typical with 2 season of dry lasting from November to April and rainy season lasting from May to October.

Weather in Northern Vietnam
The weather in northern Vietnam is featured by 4 seasons with different characteristics. The spring is slightly cold with regular drizzle. It’s getting hotter and more humid in summer. The hottest month is July when the temperature reach up to 37 – 38 Celsius degree (70.8 F – 71.8 F). There will be some showering in summer; but end soon in a day. Fall is probably the most comfortable time when temperature, humidity, sunshine and rain are more moderate than other season. However, by the end of fall like in September or early October, there are heavy rain due to monsoon. Winter is also comfortable to travel with cooler and dry weather.
